Grand Mesa Lodge

Experience The best Snow Ever

Snowmobile Rentals

We have skidoo 850’s and 600s that we rent. In order to rent one of our snowmobiles, you have to have some riding experience. You are fully responsible for any damage to the sled.

The price is $399 per day.

Why Sled With Us?

At 10,500 feet we have some of the greatest snow on the continent. Starting from the lodge, you are already 10,500 feet and so you don’t have to ride a washed out trail for the first part of your ride. We get an average of 400-500 inches per year. And we have trees, terrain, meadows, and unbelievable views.

For all of the Snowmobiling options, you can stay at the lodge–we have 14 private cabins. If you stay at the Grand Mesa Lodge, you will NOT need to trailer your snowmobile once you get here. The best riding starts 250 yards from our lodge.

Also, the lodge has a restaurant, which offers pizza and a selection of very healthy, hearty soups. The lodge also has a store which provide a lot of essential items you may forget, as well as breakfast food. All of the cabins have kitchenettes in them.

Advanced Guided Rides

Advanced guiding rides are for those who have a snowmobile, but are either not family with the terrain or the avalanche danger.

This is a great option for riders who are unfamiliar with our mountain, or who are unfamiliar with mountain riding in general. For example, if you’re from the Midwest, or if you are not avalanche certified, and you are unfamiliar with the Grand Mesa, you can hire one of our Snowmobiling guides to go with you. We can help show you terrain, and keep you in terrain that has a lower danger of avalanche risk. We will get you into the best snow, and the best areas. Well worth the price if you

The price ranges from $350-$800 per day depending on which guide and how many people.

Beginning and Intermediate Guided Rides

Beginner and intermediate guided rides are for individuals who do NOT have their own snowmobile. With these rides, we charge $199 per day, and that includes your snowmobile rental, any clothing or other gear you may need, fuel, oil, and a Snowmobile Guide who will take you out. The ride is between two and three hours. You will see unbelievable views and have the time of your life!

All of the cabins have kitchenettes in them. Your attention, please, in the interest of a

Avalanche Certification Clinic

Our avalanche certification course is a three day course. (2 of which are spent on the snow, and the other “day” is done online) It’s a Level 1 certification course. We also strongly recommend that you stay at the Grand Mesa Lodge in one of our cabins. This is a very comprehensive course on avalanche safety.

The price is $550 per person.

Mixed Clinic

Our mixed clinic is a 2 day riding clinic, where we will do 1-2 hours per day doing avalanche awareness training, skills training, and for-fun riding. For those people who don’t wanna spend three days in a clinic where they fully focus on doing avalanche training, this is a good option where you get a lot of really practical avalanche training. This is not a certification course, but we do a lot of practical avalanches training. For example, we teach you how to use transceivers, how to use other equipment, and how to read terrain and identify risks. We have sleds you can rent, but most people bring their own Snowmobile.

This is a fantastic option for someone who wants to get avalanche training, but doesn’t want to spend the entire trip. Just do an avalanche certification. With this clinic you get the lion’s share of the relevant information but still have time to ride for fun.

The price is $550 per person. You must book in advance.
